Let's Get Crafty

We've got the first craft workshop, The Motasem Made Club of 2023 coming up soon at Stone Mini Market on Thursday 2 March at 7pm, in Leytonstone, London hosted by Sabina.

If you're getting married or invited to a party this year and you'd like to have a go at making your own hair accessory or belt, you're really not going to want to miss this workshop! 

Over the years, since we started dressing super chic brides in 2007, we accumulated quite a lot of beading and motifs that we designed left over from previous collections. We never threw anything out. Our sustainability mission means we no longer to do any more beading like this, BUT we do have heaps of beautiful beaded motifs, some are one-offs, some are development pieces that have not been included in collections, but all are lovely looking for beautiful homes. The best bit, it's all free too, save yourself 100's pounds and come along to this.

Spaces are very limited

So book soon to avoid disappointment. The workshop will cost £7 with all materials and equipment will be provided. There are few free spaces each time for those who'd like to attend, but can't pay. There will be drinks and snacks available to purchase on the night too from Stone Mini Market. Food and drinks from other premises are not allowed in.

Each time we’ll be crafting something interesting or doing something creatively fun and in our next session – on Thursday 30 March as part of National Repair Week and continuing this upcycling theme, we’re going to be repairing and giving advice for any of your much-loved garments. 

Future sessions are still being decided upon but we’re thinking about covering fashion illustrations, make a lampshade or making bags out of leftover fabrics. Do let us know what you’d love to learn about, and we'll plan a session.
