What makes us sustainable?

Purpose-driven from the ground up, we craft minimalist chic pieces from fine natural fabrics in London whilst turning fabric waste into valuable items we donate to charities. Read on to find out more.

We transform fabric waste into urgently needed new-born baby clothes for refugees charity AFRIL and a baby bank.

fabric waste into paper

Smaller silk off-cuts are donated to FibreLab who innovatively regenerate it into paper which we use in the studio as envelopes and sketching.

natural silks

The ivory couture silk crepe we use in our dresses is undyed and in its most natural state. This uses less harmful chemicals and as a natural fabric, silk is also biodegradable too.

We've found great places to recommend where best to dye your dress without any of the harmful chemicals that usual dyeing has.

Our pieces have been made in London since 2007. Nothing gets made internationally.

Slow fashion

All our pieces are always made-to-order. We are not mass produced and do not hold unnecessary stock. All of our fashion drops always have a limited number of pieces.

Supply chain

From where we source our fabrics to who drafts our patterns and expertly stitches our pieces together, everything is made with love and in safest working conditions.

Reduced carbon footprint

We have bulk bought our fabrics, so we don't need to ship often. Our ateliers are close to the studio, (almost walking distance) and we use electric couriers for deliveries.

Eco-Friendly Care Labels

We have replaced our care labels to these organic GOTS certified ones with sustainable water inks .

Organic Cotton Garment Covers

We make our own woven garment covers in London from deadstock GOTs certified cotton.There are no plastic zips, have pretty ties.

Organic + Recycled Packaging

All our packaging organic. Each of the boxes that we use are made from eco-friendly, high quality recycled kraft board.

Eco-Friendly Supplies for the Studio

All supplies are sourced from The Bower Collective, Stone Minimart and Who Gives a Crap. Dried flowers saved from the founder's own wedding are displayed and furniture is vintage and upcycled.

Upcycle your wedding dress

We have designed our wedding dresses so that they can be easily upcycled after the wedding day. We have a list of seamstresses who can upcycle your dress for you.

Brides Do Good – A boutique helping to end child marriage

Old samples are donated to ethical boutique Brides Do Good in London. We've raised enough funds from the samples we've donated, to support a year of school for over 150 girls who were at risk of early marriage.

scrubs + masks for the NHS

Five years ago, we made over 5,000 scrubs and masks for the NHS to over twenty medical centres, care homes and hospitals.

Supporting Local Communities

We planned series of sewing and creative workshops at ethical store in East London, Stone Minimart.

Eco-friendly back neck and size

Currently these are organza-based high-definition printed labels. We are currently looking for a replacement cotton or linen style label as natural fabrics like these are more sustainable than manufactured fabrics. However, we will only be switching once we’ve used the organza labels up as we truly believe that it’s better to use what we have than buy new.

Carbon Off-Setting

We're currently looking at ways we can engage a third-party to help us become carbon neutral and offset each of our dresses and sales.

Looking for an alternative to plastic bags

Our dresses are packaged in cornstarch plastic bags, which are as strong as plastic versions, but are fully biodegradable and compostable.
