How do I book/change an appointment?

To book an appointment click on the book now button and select your most suitable slot. Check our booking calendar for specific dates and times, appointment days are limited.

Where is my appointment?

We are booking appointments in our Bridal Studio in Dalston, North London, just a minute walk from Haggerston Overground station, in an exclusive, privately-owned luxe apartment in a secret location we share with confirmed appointments.

Our bridal appointments are moving to The Wedding Club, the UK's most fashion-forward bridal boutique.

We’re about to enter a beautiful new chapter here at Sabina Motasem. From 11 July, all our bridal appointments will be moving to a brand new exclusive bridal home – The Wedding Club in Knightsbridge. We’ll be saying goodbye to Dalston studio bridal fittings, as The Wedding Club, the UK's most fashion-forward bridal boutique becomes our exclusive UK stockist.

In the meantime, if you’ve been thinking about booking in with us at our Dalston studio and ordering your dress and continuing your journey with us, now is the time – especially as our current prices will be increasing from July. This is your last chance to try on and order at our existing prices before we move fully over to The Wedding Club.

How much is the appointment?

Appointment fee: £35, redeemable against a purchase

Can I please bring babies or small children?

Please notify us if you would like to bring babies or small children with buggies.

Is there any parking?

There is free parking available all day on Saturday. If you're visiting during the week we do have parking voucher available upon request if you are driving.

How long in advance should I book my first bridal appointment?

We recommend that you book your first appointment one year in advance of your wedding date to start looking and gettings ideas of cuts and shapes you love. If you're getting married in a shorter timescale, we can also help as all of our dresses are made in London.

How long will my appointment(s) be?

Your appointments will be with the designer Sabina Motasem or one of our trained stylists that will last one hour. You will discuss the collections and narrow down the options to your favourites.

How many guests am I allowed to bring to my bridal appointment?

We recomend you bring no more than three guests to your appointment. Any more guests can be a little distracting and it becomes tricky to be able to decide which is the ideal dress for your big day.

I'd like to bring more than three guests, can I do that?

Yes you can but please notify us. If you are bringing more than the recommended three guests, not only will it be a little distracting, but any more than 5 guests, there will be no available seating.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

We suggest to bring a strapless bra and to wear nude underwear. For sanitary reasons, we will not allow try-ons without underwear. If possible, have photos of dress styles you are drawn to and photos of your venue so we can better understand the theme of your wedding and personal style.

How long does it take to have my dress made or delivered?

Although our dresses are made-to-order and can be delivered to you within four weeks, this does not allow any time for alterations. As we do not do bespoke or alterations at Sabina Motasem, keep this in mind if you do need to have alterations done. Alterations can be as simple as fixing a hem to completely changing the structure of a garment, so please check with your chosen alteration house for their estimated times.

What size samples do you have?

We have mostly size 10 sample dresses, but we do have some dresses in size 12 and 14 too. Please let us when you book your appointment what size you are, in the short questionnaire during the booking an appointment process.

What size will should I order?

When you have chosen your dress, we will take detailed measurements to ensure we choose the best size for you. However, if you are buying online, here is our size chart for reference.

Do you do bespoke work or alterations?

We are more than happy to recommend a few places in the London area who have experience with altering our dresses, should you require any alteration services who are located in Islington, East London and North London. We do not have any recommendations for seamstresses in West London.

Usually, a bride-to-be can have anywhere from one to four alteration fittings leading up to the wedding.

When do I need to book my alterations?

Always advance book in with seamstresses to do your alterations as they tend to get booked up fairly quickly, and we always recommend you have at least four months to do do your alterations. Its always good to have everything done and dusted at least two months before your big day, as there's usually so many other things you will need to do in the lead up to your wedding.

Also, the time it takes to find the right accessories, decide how to style your hair, what shoes to wear and the right underwear, always takes so much more time than you think. We always recommend to have two different options for underwear to try out at each of your fittings, so that by the end of your fittings you will have been able to check every single detail of your beautiful bridal look confidently.

Check with them specifically to see their lead times, estimated number of fittings and if they have experience sewing bias-cut silk.

I've got my wedding dress, how do I plant the rest of my wedding?

Each of our brides and anyone who books in for an appointment, get our specially curated list of our favourite wedding suppliers from everyone like our favourite photographer to the best hair and make up people we know, the best places for bridesmaids to the best natural dyers out there too who can dye your dress and the seamstresses who can upcycle it too. We've also got a great comprehensive list of the best underwear we've discovered too.
