The founder

dressing timelessly chic brides since 2007

After designing a friend’s ‘gift’ of a simple, elegant wedding dress and five other ‘gifts’ later, the idea for a minimalist, yet sustainable bridal brand, Sabina Motasem, was born.

Word quickly spread

What started as a side hustle soon became a highly sought-after brand that has been dressing chic brides all over the world.

Founded by Sabina Motasem

From a background in fashion and graphic design, Sabina launched a fashion range during Off-Schedule London Fashion Week in 2008, before the bridal world took over.

The brand was selected to showcase at the Zandra Rhodes textile museum and won a place on the New Scholarship Programme with funding to create the first collection which included the Josephine and Elsa dresses.

Participated in the Innovation for Growth programme through the Business and IP Centre at the British Library which led to mentoring with the late Anita Roddick, founder of Body Shop.
