Bridgerton’s Golda Rosheuvel wears our Marceline dress
Bridgerton is back on our screens with the second series and to celebrate, actress Golda Rosheuvel who plays Queen Charlotte, wore our Marceline dress in a special styled shoot for Untitled magazine. Styled to perfection by Rebekah Roy, with a pink tulle robe by Monika Bereza and statement jewellery by Azza Fahmy .
Love how the cowl-neck dress has been styled as off-the-shoulder. Read the full interview by Indira Cesarine online on The Untitled Magazine here. We heard Golda chose the Marceline dress herself and wanted to wear it. She wore it beautifully. The Marceline dress is a softly cowl neck dress, bias cut, slinky with a puddle train with a plunging low cowl back too. Its been in our collection since the beginning and its much loved by so many of our brides. Its a great cut that is simply flattering on virtually any body shape, come and try her on at our newly opened, exclusive bridal studio.
It’s not every day an actor gets the opportunity to play a queen, but Bridgerton’s Golda Rosheuvel has taken on the task with gusto. As Queen Charlotte, Rosheuvel found it easier than you would imagine to perform as such a royal character, owing to her unique background and upbringing.
The diverse casting of the show, which is one of Netflix’s most popular originals of all time, has paved the way for immense progress in the entertainment industry with regards to representation.
This exclusive comes just in time for the release of the 2nd season which premiered yesterday!
