Behind The Scenes at a Eco-Friendly Styled Shoot

We did a styled shoot with all ethically minded suppliers recently at an amazing wedding venue that I quite honestly wished I knew about last year when I got married. What a beautiful place. I took our brand new dress for 2024, called Moonlight Magic along, pictured above modelled by Abi.

She's a racer neck style with a super low plunging V back, gloriously bias cut dress that skims over the hips beautifully whilst showing off a beautiful back. She's a style that's ready to try on now at our Dalston bridal studio.

We also took our new Shooting Star and Queen of the Meadow dresses along too. Shooting Star is a soft cowl neck bias cut slip-style wedding dress with double spaghetti delicate straps. Queen of the Meadow is our bias cut one shoulder dress, seemed like the perfect dress to bring along and pictured like its surrounded by a meadow.

The Venue - Barnfield Weddings

Barnfield Weddings is a lovely place for a wedding that's surrounded by lush natural landscapes, a meadow of trees not too far away from a picturesque lake.

Situated in a beautiful, nature-filled corner of North Essex, beside a lake and surrounded by meadows and woodland on a small family farm, the Barn Field and its surroundings offer a unique, special place for a wedding. They are offering a small number of weddings each year during the summer (May to September), at weekends (Fridays or Saturdays only) and aim to keep operations as sustainable as possible, and take a strong interest in the environment, wildlife and nature on the farm.

Following a track through the meadows and down a tree lined avenue, the area known as ‘Mount Nebo’ situated in the Barn Field. There is almost 15 acres of the farm available for a private wedding, I can see a lovely festival style wedding happening here with lights the trees. The land is at a good distance from any houses, and each space offers amazing opportunities for you to be creative about how you use it.

There's a beautiful lake and land surrounding it next to a willow field, with majestic rows of silvery willow trees and butterfly filled grassland. Close by is a woodland, with rows of mature trees. The lake has space beside it for a tipi or marquee for up to 140 people.

Dry Hire costs start at £750 for short events of less than 12 hours, or £3,500 for 3 day exclusive hire.
