Stylish necklaces to complement V-neck wedding dresses
You may have thought about the style of wedding dress you want to wear down the aisle, but have you ever thought about the type of neckline? There are many to choose from such as sweetheart, asymmetric or the very on-trend straight bandeau.
Many of our dresses feature a plunging V-neck, a neckline that’s been popular throughout time and favoured by celebrities such as the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton and actor Sophie Turner.

The beauty about V-neck wedding dresses is that they pretty much suit every body type.
They’re great for petite brides as they elongate your silhouette, while those brides with fuller chests will also find it a flattering fit.
Accessorising a V-neck wedding dress
As well as being universally flattering, a V-neck also allows you to showcase stylish necklaces. Depending on your own personal style, there are a few different types of necklaces you can choose to finish off your big day look.
1. Layered necklaces
Layering up delicate necklaces, particularly fine chains, is a modern take on wedding day jewellery. You can also highlight an important piece of jewellery by adding a layer featuring a pendant necklace as a lovely contrast.

2. Pearl choker
For necklaces to wear with V-neck dresses, a good rule of thumb is to stick with choker-length pieces. Shorter necklaces give you a long, lean look by leaving more space between the neckline of your dress and the accessory. A pearl choker is timelessly chic, but if you want some sparkle, choose one embellished with crystals.

3. Graduated necklace
As a graduated necklace has a greater volume at the centre, it creates visual symmetry with the deepest point of a V-neck dress, making it an excellent choice for this style of wedding dress. These necklaces also work well with semi-precious or precious stones for a seriously glam style statement.

4. Lariat or pendant necklace
Choose a necklace that is the same size as your V. A smaller necklace will work best for a narrow plunge, and a larger one will work best for a wider plunge. And be careful not to select one that is too long—it will compete with your neckline.
