We were asked recently by one of our lovely brides, for ideas for stylish cover-ups to go with her Lilian dress. If you're looking for something stylish that provides a little warmth for those sometimes chilly summer evenings – then you should take a look at these gorgeous luxurious superfine cashmere acessories by Kelly Spence

We styled the Flora Shrug with our popular Elsa dress in luxurious liquid gold and soft tulle skirt in our Art Deco inspired gold shoot we did at the Town Hall Hotel in Bethnal Green. Not only does it look so effortlessly chic and stylish and warm, you get to wear it again beyond the wedding day too. Long-lasting, locally made with love and all natural fibres too.

A relaxed and casual option and a cosy cover-up for the reception...

Ever since Olivia Palermo wore a cashmere sweater on her wedding day in 2015 with a Carolina Herrera skirt, bridal has been moving more and more towards the outside of the traditional box. It was a very unexpected choice, but the look managed to win over the fash-pack. Its become a major trend. Knitwear is all over the catwalks, it creates that luxury feeling yet its still that effortless dressed down look took, which has seeped into bridal.

With more and more weddings becoming more low key, with limited numbers, finding a look that's perfect for a small and intimate wedding is what a lot of brides are happliy looking for right now. Olivia tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in a secluded park hidden away in Bedford, New York.

"We really wanted to keep this beautiful day very private and special to us," Olivia wrote on her website. “This look suited my small, intimate ceremony.”

More and more brides are having multiple weddings which mean we can have multiple accessories, or if you find something that works for both, this range of knitwear is perfect for that too.

Stand out from the crowd and go for something a little different.
