Transform your dress - two wedding dresses for the price of one

I love the idea of switching your look between the ceremony and reception but can’t afford two dresses? We think we have the perfect solution, which our brides love.

One of the great things about some of our dresses is that they can be easily transformed to create a completely different look. Go demure look for the the ceremony, and change it up for the evening for a more alluring sexy wedding look - and we've got two dresses for you... Margot and Elsa, and the Misty dresses.

Margot and Elsa dress

If you're a romantic at heart and you love the style of old Hollywood glamour, you might like our Margot and Elsa dress. Margot is an art nouveau corded lace dress available with long lacey seelves or grown on cap sleeves and worn with a gorgeous slip style dress in gold satin. Wear with a soft tulle veil, for an utterley romantic look perfect for a church or a venue with a period. We’re adding more luscious laces to our Nouveau collection too.

For the evening remove the lace over-dress to reveal the Elsa dress, one of our best-selling dresses since it was added to our collection many years ago and still a firm favourite with our brides. Elsa is a silk wedding dress made from a liquid gold luxe satin, and lined with a velvetty satin lining for that ultimate luxury. Add a sash and carefully ease up the Elsa dress above it to create a look reminiscent of the iconic green dress worn by Keira Knightley in the film Atonement. Elsa is such a flattering dress, it suit all shapes and sizes, and we've got you covered too on what the best underwear to wear too as recommended by our own brides too.

Misty dress

If lace isn’t your thing and you prefer something sleek, elegant and modern, then Misty is could be the dress for you. It’s a lightly boned strapless dress with a contrast satin band, and a side slit skirt with a detachable off-the-shoulder band. Most brides love their decolletage and this dress really shows it off beautifully. Accessorise with a cool statement necklace or elegant drop earrings, like these ones from Freya Rose.

For the evening, silghtly change up the look by removing the off-the-shoulder band to transform the dress into a slinky strapless style revealing a satin contrast band along the neck. Button up the train neatly underneath and you'll be ready for dancing and fun for the evening.
