The Ultimate List of Vegan and Cruelty-Free Skincare Brands

MEOW MEOW TWEET

We're continuing our ultimate list of 100%, completely vegan and cruelty-free brands for 2022 - with the next section being skincare!

If you missed our ultimate list of completely vegan and cruelty-free make-up products, check out that post here!

The list below includes skincare brands that have been verified to not conduct or commission any animal testing on their ingredients, formulations, or finished products- anywhere in the world. This also includes not selling their cosmetics products in stores in mainland China under conditions where animal testing may be required by law. In addition to the above, brands included on this list must only offer vegan products. This means absolutely no animal-derived ingredients or by-products are used —in any and all of their products!

Here are some common animal products found in skincare:

Lanolin, beeswax, royal jelly, honey, collagen, silk amino acids, snail mucin, milk-derivatives, and squalene (from shark liver oil).

Why Shop Vegan?

At Sabina Motasem, we think it's very important to continue to revolutionise not only our brand, but our daily lives and habits as well. To live a cruelty-free and eco-conscious lifestyle, we want to support brands that do not test on animals. We also want to make sure that none of the ingredients in these cosmetics were cruelly obtained from animals- choosing cosmetics and personal care products made without a single, animal-based ingredient is the best way to ensure no animals were harmed.

Also, by choosing to support and buy from these 100% vegan brands, it shows there is a growing consumer demand for vegan products and that running a truly vegan company is sustainable and profitable. This will hopefully urge other brands to go entirely vegan as well.

Do you use any of the brands mentioned above? Were you suprised to see your favourite brand didn't make the cut? We'd love to hear your thoughts!

Until next time,

Emily
